The first Zara store opened in Spain in 1975 but the online store has been open to countries around the world since 2010. The key to Zara’s success is that it imitates high-fashion looks for a fraction of the cost. The store as a massive selection of clothing, including casual looks, but a lot of the store’s collection is fashion-forward and chic.

While Zara has a massive clothing collection, there are both good and bad things about this site. For example, the site is organized very well and it’s easy to find the products that you want to browse. Each piece of clothing comes with several large, beautiful photos to show it from all angles. However, there is no way to sort the products, so we don’t know the price range of this store. This can also make it a little harder to find exactly what you want.

About This List

We have used Google Trends to measure search popularity and we’ve gotten the Instagram follower count straight from Instagram itself.

The popularity measures (green meters) are all relative to each other. This means that there will always be one store in these lists that have 100% search popularity and 100% Instagram popularity. The lesser popular stores will have a percentage of that.

Keep in mind that one exponentially more popular store can make other really popular stores look like they are not. They still are – just not in comparison with that one.

The price meters are also relative. All meters start from 0 on the left-hand side.

To choose these stores, we looked at key points like variety of products, popularity on social media, and the price range. We looked at brands, styles of clothing, and acessibilty, as well.
